America became a country that benefited from the blending of the best of all immigrant cultures. We are Americans first and foremost. That's the miracle:

We live in individual states but ultimately in one united country.
For almost two centuries this experiment in democracy has been the envy of the world. Even so, these achievements were not good enough for the psychotic left. These deranged individuals, have spent the last forty years recasting "America, the Melting Pot" as "America, the Multi-Culti-Pot."
How did they do it?
By accusing you of collective guilt. They claimed you and I were oppressing and abusing (fill in the blank).
We oppress homosexuals, blacks, Latinos, Asians, Indians, plants, bugs, minerals, the ozone, the snail darter, the wetlands, and the moon. The leftists figured out long ago that social chaos is a wonderful tool to help them usher in their socialist worldview.
Having labeled us as intolerant cavemen, their solution has been to sell multi-culturalism as a good, even a preferred social construct to nationalism.
What does this mean?
With multiculturalism, immigrants don't attempt to assimilate the dominant culture.
Instead, they retain their distinct cultural heritage. They don't bother to learn english, choosing to speak their own language and then demand that we print ballots in eighteen languages. And, in the spirit of multiculturalism, they'll sue you in a heartbeat if you don't acquiesce to their ethnic sensitivities.
Multiculturalism has castrated America's dominant cultural identity and, instead, has imposed the culture of the immigrant's "country of origin" on us. Where will multiculturalism take us if left unchecked? America the melting pot. America the multi-culti pot. America the chamber pot. A chamber pot holds nothing of value, nothing worth preserving. Once the sheople come to view America as a chamber pot, they won't have a sense of national identity. They will have no national unity. No sense of national pride. No sense of responsibility. And worst of all, no national honor.
Ultimately, America the chamber pot puts this country on the pathway to apathy and anarchy, and that as the liberals know is the perfect climate in which to reap the fruits of socialism.
Pushing us farther along that pathway to apathy and anarchy is the attack by the left upon the cultural backbone of the nation.

Excuse me, but you are the one full of hate, and doing the in your face tactics of trying to scare people out of believing the truth, is proof of it. I stand on those statements. And yes, I forgot to put the writers name in, my hubby reminded me to, but I forgot. I will go back and do so.
This however does not change the fact that you leftists will never frighten or intimidate me from believing anything other then what I do. Your tone makes it quite clear where the hate comes from, not mine. The facts are the facts, and if you don't wish to see it, thats your problem not mine.

Let me tell you one more thing mike, I have never hidden behind anyone. and yes if someone writes something I agree with then I will state it.
As you should be able to tell, way before I posted that, I have stated like minded thoughts. You are the coward. How can you say all that stuff and expect me to take you for anything other then a hate filled liberal? Yours is the classic example of freedom of speech for the leftist crowd only. That doesn't work with me.

But the debate has changed in recent years. It has become more personal; instead of debating issues, we now debate each others' qualities relating to those issues... such as patriotism, honesty and tolerance.
I started out yesterday to explore the notion of 'fear of the left'. You present a piece of someone elses writing. A piece that is written poorly. A piece that we could have used to isolate and discuss issues of discomfort.... but that piece was not meant to pose issues to discuss... it was meant to isolate a segment of the population, attribute actions to it, and insult it. The piece (and its author) become the object, with the author's hatreds and fears the subject. This was not a piece about the left. This was about Michael Savage. And Michael Savage hates.
...I've said repeatedly in these posts that hatred makes be blind...that I have an allergy to hatred and its twin brother, stupidity.
..Michael Savage messed with both of us yesterday. It was Savage's words that tickled my hate button... it was Savages words that established the connection between being a 'liberal' and being a 'deranged individual of the psycotic left'. And it was Savages words, and Savage himself, that deserved my tirade...
...I am not 'hate filled'. But I AM passionate. And I will fight back when attacked. By extension, and for mere reason of politics, I was called a 'psycotic deranged individual' yesterday.

Legs, you DID in fact work the title of the thread. You showed what there is to fear. You showed that the left offers little to fear. You showed that the right would rather hear what it wants to hear about the left, and that it wants to hear it from yet another hate-filled white man on a corporate payroll.
I hereby officially apologize for inappropriately saying untruths. I am sorry for blasting a rant at ten minutes to nine, then sighning off to go hang out with my teenagers and not coming back online to clean up.
But this apology is for you, legs. I do not appologize for what I said about Savage's piece. As a matter of fact, I am sending him last night's rant, anotated, to him personally,... for his bemusement. I hold no love for troublemakers like Savage and Rush... I hold no love for those who would inspire Americans to fight among themselves.. 'no love for entertainers who use our emotions to sell advertising.
You (or anyone else) want to discuss 'liberals', and/or what liberalism means to America, fine. That is the only reason I'm here.
But save your freeping of hate speech for someone else. You know now how I will react to this shyttt. Nothing is accomplished.
If you care enough to paste someone else words in response to mine, you probably care enough to write your own. There are real issues in this lib vs con debate. Hate needn't be one of them.
