Shrub will endorse a Federal Marriage Ammendment to the Constitution, to "protect the sanctity of marriage".
Webster's defines "sanctity" as "holiness of life or character"
and then defines "holiness" as;" the quality or state of being holy -- used as a title for various high religious dignitaries"
How can you fools legislate "holiness" without promoting religion?
This whole canard about "marriage" is really about the wingnuts needing to make christianity the state religion.
The republicans hate freedom.
The republicans hate America.
The republicans want to turn America into Christian Nation.
And they're too full of poultry litter to admit it.
